New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg served as their witness at the brief ceremony, which was performed at City Hall in Lower Manhattan by a city clerk, says the Globe. Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo tied the knot with music producer Chris Ivery in a brief civil ceremony held at New York’s City Hall Friday. “They are over the moon,” Pompeo’s publicist, Jennifer Allen, said of the newlyweds.
