`As for Eid Al-Adha, difference among Muslim countries is not passable at all, for Muslims should follow the occasion of Hajj. Therefore, the Day of `Arafah is the Day when pilgrims stand on the mountain of `Arafah, and Muslims should celebrate the same day with them. Sighting the moon of Dhul-Hijjah carries no weight in other countries if it differs from that of Saudi Arabia.

Eid-al-Adha... known as the Feast of Sacrifice or the Great Feast, is the most important feast day in Islam and comes at the end of the Pilgrimage to Mecca. Each year the last month of the Islamic calendar, the month of Dhul Hijjah, is the month of pilgrimage. Millions of Muslims travel to Mecca in Saudi Arabia during this month. Making a pilgrimage to Mecca is the Fifth Pillar of Islam. The pilgrimage is a form of worship.

Eid al-Adha is 3 days long and starts on the 10th day of the month of Dhul Hijja (ذو Ø§Ù„ØØ¬Ø©) of the lunar Islamic calendar. This is the day after the pilgrims in Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia by Muslims worldwide, descend from Mount Arafat. It happens to be approximately 70 days after the end of the month of Ramadan.

The following list shows the official dates of Eid ul-Adha for Saudia-Arabia as announced by the Supreme Judicial Council. Future dates are calculated according to the Umm al-Qura. The three days after the listed date are ... part of the festival. The time before the listed date the pilgrims visit the Mount Arafat and descend from it after sunrise of the listed day. Future dates of Eid ul-Adha might face correction 10 days before the festivity, in case of deviant lunar sighting in Saudia Arabia for the start of the month Dhul Hijja.
