Edward Furlong is the luckiest kid in Hollywood. His acting career was accellerated the day he put a quarter in a video game and a casting agent decided he would be a perfect John Connor in the legendary sequel to Terminator. Since then he has been in a handful of notable films, but nothing of serious acclaim.

This mugshot of Edward Furlong a few years back is pretty much the reason why he wasn't asked back for "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines." But an Internet rumor on Ain't it Cool News (http://www.aintitcool.com) states that Furlong's agent is claiming he will return for the role of John Connor in the fourth "Terminator" film.

[T]his week an interesting report has surfaced, which seems to indicate that Furlong might be changing gears and heading to the small screen soon. It won’t be as part of The Sarah Connor Chronicles as you might expect, but rather the upcoming Star Wars TV series. TV Guide writer Michael Ausiello recently asked Furlong what he was working on next, and his reply was “Some CSI, and then maybe the Star Wars TV series, man.” So it looks like we may have our first real Star Wars casting rumour! Edward Furlong is ... currently starring in an indie flick that just hit select theatres this weekend called Jimmy & Judy. It sounds a little like Natural Born Killers but with teenagers. In John Waters' quirky Pecker, Furlong was cast as the title character, a budding young photographer who takes pictures of his friends and family in his Baltimore hometown and is suddenly discovered by a big New York art dealer. Furlong showed his versatility at playing comedic satire as well as he had played his more dramatic roles.
