The Eagle Alliance was created for and dedicated to NSA and the Groundbreaker program. It will provide a cost-effective model for fulfilling NSA's requirements and provides a single framework for the delivery of services by all Eagle Alliance members. With full financial backing of CSC and Northrop Grumman, the Eagle Alliance provides a single point of accountability -- the senior executive, Timothy J. Sheahan. In his new position, Sheahan will report to Tom Robinson, president of the Defense Group within CSC's Federal Sector and chairman of the alliance.

The back page of The Eagle was usually devoted to depicting the life story of a (usually) historic character, told in the normal strip format over many months. These included The Happy Warrior (the life of Winston Churchill), The Shepherd King (the life of the biblical King David), Gordon of Khartoum (the life of General Gordon), Montgomery of Alamein (the life of Lord Montgomery), all drawn by Frank Bellamy; and The Road of Courage (the life of Jesus Christ), drawn by Frank Hampson.
American Eagle has operated a maintenance facility at XNA since 2004, employing 120 people. The new maintenance facility will be located in a hangar at XNA. This move to a larger hangar, together with the increase in its XNA-based maintenance work force, will enable the airline to maintain more aircraft every night and to take on additional maintenance responsibilities. Interested job applicants should apply online at http://www.americaneaglecareers.com/.

White-tailed Eagle in flight Eagle lecterns are very common in Christian churches and cathedrals. The eagle is the symbol used to depict John the Apostle, whose writing most clearly witnesses the light and divinity of Christ. In art, John, as the presumed author of the Gospel, is often depicted with an eagle, which symbolizes the height he rose in the first chapter of his gospel. See Names of John.
