Dvorak: John C. Dvorak
built 787 days ago
Noted Apple critic John C. Dvorak has written a generally favorable view of recent experiences using an iMac, which he requested for a work project in a Mac-based office. Comparing the system to a PC, he notes that the interface is "slicker," and that he feels less concerned about issues such as viruses and spyware. Mac OS X is ... described as seeming "more solid" than Microsoft Windows, which Dvorak attributes to the Mac's Unix substructure.

John C. Dvorak, the man Mac users love to hate, has used a Mac. His verdict? He actually likes it quite a bit. After using the iMac for a project for some unnamed company, he found that they're very quiet, "slicker" than PCs, and has a feeling of being faster and more solid than Windows. Shock horror!

For a long period of time John C. Dvorak has given his opinion on technology and the internet through both his own personal blog and through columns in magazines and technology websites. In this time it is easy to see a progression of Dvorak’s mental state from healthy and sane into where he is now: a delusional lunatic who is either so out of touch with reality he believes what he says, or just likes to hear his own voice. Either way, although he’s not respected enough to be a danger to anyone, Dvorak is a major annoyance to the entire online community.
