In addition to discipline-specific requirements, the new Duquesne Core Curriculum features four theme areas: social justice, faith and reason, creative arts, and global diversity. Faculty from across the University are invited to submit course proposals for these areas. Many creative possibilities exist: demonstrating that one of these themes already pervades an existing course, adapting an existing course by integrating one of the themes, or proposing a new course.
