Dungeon Keeper 2 box cover The most immediate change from Dungeon Keeper is in its graphics; the world is now fully 3D. Where monsters were previously sprites, they are now 3D models. Several rooms, spells, and monsters were changed, added or removed, as were many game mechanics. For example, if a creature is dropped into the middle of a melee, it is stunned and vulnerable for a few seconds before getting up to fight. One major feature of the game is its "My Pet Dungeon" mode, which features sandbox-style play where players have a nearly unlimited amount of time to construct a dungeon uninterrupted. Heroes would only invade the dungeon if the player chooses to allow it.
There are several bonus stages in Dungeon Keeper, but one of them can be found without doing anything. To access it, set your PC's date to any day with a full moon then start the game. The bonus stage will appear as a flag with a circle in it.
Dungeon Keeper 2 - Shot 3 This is where Dungeon Keeper 2 has really had an overhaul. Gone are the 2D features that previously inhibited the first incarnation of the game. Now the game is fully 3D accelerated for a mass of different 3D cards. The most notable change in the graphical department is the large range of new special effects such as fire, spells, water reflections and wall rubble. The animation of every creature and character in the game is far and away greater than in the original game.

Dungeon Keeper 2 Preview [ Here comes a dark angel @ 640 x 480 ] > When it came out in 1997, Dungeon Keeper became a sort of cult classic among gamers. Headed by Peter Molyneaux, Bullfrog was no stranger to innovative titles (Syndicate, Theme Park), but with Dungeon Keeper, they took it to new levels. Instead of fighting the dark side, Bullfrog had the player take the role of an evil dungeon master trying to hoard treasure away from goody-goody heroes. Combine that premise with tons of monsters to domesticate, powerful spells, and that wonderful Bullfrog wit and you've got the formula to the original Dungeon Keeper. The original pitted you against the Avatar and his smarmy hordes of do-gooders.

Pic of Dark Mistress In Dungeon Keeper, you take the role of the evil opponent defending against the Forces of Good. A torture chamber is one of 14 rooms which you can build in your dungeon. When you have a torture chamber, a Dark Mistress will join your forces. She enjoys pain and inflicting it on others.

One of the biggest mysteries in Dungeon Keeper is what to sacrifice at the temple. Temples ... make your monsters happier, can cure them of disease or chicken-ness. But the most fun is to drop your creatures into the temple waters to see what happens.
