[O]f these problems, open dumps were banned by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1979, and have been replaced by sanitary landfills. The sanitary landfill concept developed in Great Britain during the 1920s. The procedure entails alternating layers of compacted garbage with cover material. This can be soil, compost, or any other approved material. Garbage is dumped and then compacted by special bulldozers aptly called compactors. One of the requirements is that most modern landfills must have at least one containments liner. - Environmental Racism -- Communities
Environmental racism ... operates in the international arena between nations and between transnational corporations. Increased globalization of the world's economy has placed special strains on the eco-systems in many poor communities and poor nations inhabited largely by people of color and indigenous peoples. This is especially true for the global resource extraction industry such as oil, timber, and minerals. [7] Globalization makes it easier for transnational corporations and capital to flee to areas with the least environmental regulations, best tax incentives, cheapest labor, and highest profit. - Land of the Dead -- Zombies
"George A. Romero’s Land of the Dead is a new classic in the zombie film genre and Groove Games is excited to bring games based on the film to the PC and Xbox," said Jon Walsh, CEO of Groove Games. Known for incorporating rock music into its raps, Run-DMC became one of the first rap groups to be featured regularly on MTV (Music Television). Also during the mid-1980s, the first female rap group of consequence, Salt-N-Pepa, released the singles “The Show Stoppa” (1985) and “Push It” (1987); “Push It” reached the top 20 on Billboard’s pop charts. - Popeye

Evans reportedly butted heads repeatedly with Altman over Popeye, which would temporarily be Evans' final project as related drug and legal problems would sideline him for much of the 1980s. Before the pieces fell into place, Evans had been trying to get Popeye made for several years. Among the directors who almost made it: Mike Nichols (The Graduate), Arthur Penn (Bonnie and Clyde) and Hal Ashby (Being There). Among the stars nearly attached to play Olive Oyl were Gilda Radner and Lily Tomlin; Dustin Hoffman was set to play Popeye but is said to have dropped out over the hiring of Jules Feiffer as writer. - Monopoly -- Anti-Monopoly

Although generally Hell is often portrayed as a hot steaming and tormenting place for sinners there is one Hell pit which is characterized differently from the other Hell in Islamic tradition. Zamhareer is seen as the coldest and the most freezing Hell of all, yet its coldness is not seen as a pleasure or a relief to the sinners who committed crimes against God.
