The Druid sigil is the identifying symbol of one of the earliest Druid reconstruction organizations, Reformed Druids of North America. It is strictly a modern symbol, having no root in historic Druidry. It originated in the sixties, but the inspiration behind the design is unknown- the most likely origin is from heraldic designs, which often featured wreaths of oak leaves.

Limitations: Druid's Druidic powers have a special vulnerability to iron, as did that of his ancestors. Iron tends to act as a "lightning rod" for the magical forces he employs, sometimes disrupting its effects.

The strength of the Druid/Ibis combo spilled over to the soundstage, most notably on Pat Metheney's disc, Secret Story. On "The Longest Summer," the piano had just the right amount of sparkle, weight, and bloom. When Metheny broke in with his guitar synth, it filled the front, sides, and back of the stage and surrounded the piano. The Druids could be placed closer to the back wall than the Spendor 2/3s without losing a lot of depth. The Druids are more up front in comparison to the Spendors, which are more laid back. The Druids have an open sound that is very inviting.

The Druid gives players several play style options. A Druid in normal form is a caster that can fight with spells or weapons. In Bear form the Druid becomes a Warrior with Rage. While in Cat form the Druid becomes a Rogue with Energy and stealth. The Druid can ... transform into two other special animal forms. With its ability to heal itself and fellow characters, the Druid can also take on the role of a Priest.

Druid Hills is roughly bounded by the Fulton County line on the west, Emory Road on the north. The boundary cuts just east around the Fernbank Forest and North Avenue constitutes is border to the south. The area is conveniently located near both Interstate 85 and Interstate 285, making transportation in and out of the area a breeze.
