The game runs on the MUGEN game engine and delivers some of the best Dragonball Z gaming that a fan could ever dream of. The list of characters that you can play with is endless and you will be able to fight against most of the bad guys from the series. Each character has their signature moves and for a change the combo moves are not impossible to execute.

FUNimation's sales and profitability benefited from the resolution of a dispute with Atari, a licensee of interactive video game rights to the Dragonball Z franchise, which resulted in the realization of previously unpaid royalties. FUNimation anticipates that its licenses to Atari will provide an additional revenue stream going forward as a $10 million prepaid royalty advance that was received by FUNimation in 2004 has now been earned out.

In your opinion, the game is the greatest because it simply has Dragonball Z on it, because you are a Dragonball Z fanboy. It is because of people like you that games based of of cartoon/movie/TV franchises tend to suck most of the time. Because people like you FREAKING BUY THEM!
