Draco Malfoy is a nasty Slytherin boy who is in Harry's year at Hogwarts. Draco struts around Hogwarts, flanked by his sidekicks Gregory Goyle and Vincent Crabbe insulting nearly everyone, especially those of Muggle-parentage (like Hermione). Draco is Harry�s arch enemy and has been since the very first day at Hogwarts. In addition to being Harry's nemesis, he ... enjoys insulting Ron's family because they are poor. Draco is an only child and a pure-blood. His father, Lucius, is a Death Eater and his mother, Narcissa, is a member of the Black family.

Draco Malfoy is a student at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He’s the same age as Harry Potter though the two are sworn enemies. Malfoy’s parents, Lucius and Narcissa, are Death Eaters, supporters of Lord Voldemort, and young Malfoy makes no mistake about where his loyalties lie. The Malfoys are pure blood wizards and look down on those who are Muggle born. The Malfoy family is quite well to do, and Draco doesn’t want for much.

Draco Malfoy's father makes his first appearance in the 2nd book. Lucius is a wealthy, pure-blood wizard (of which he is exceedingly proud) with very important connections with the Ministry of Magic. He was a Death Eater during Voldemort's first rein of power, but he eluded capture and presents a respectable face these days. When Voldemort rose again, Lucius again took up his role as a Death Eater. At the end of year 5, he was finally captured and sent to Azkaban. But with the dementors gone, no doubt he'll be out in no time.

Draco Malfoy returned for his fifth year at Hogwarts as a Slytherin prefect. This was ideal for two reasons: firstly, he had a badge and Harry didn't; secondly, Draco had extra power with which to bully younger students. Finally his Harry-baiting began to work; Draco made Harry so angry after their first Quidditch match of the year that Harry attacked him and was banned from the game. Draco Malfoy is portrayed in fanfiction as either Harry Potter's/Hermione Granger's/Ronald Weasely's/Ginny Weasely's/various other characters' lovers. This is not "canon", nor is it probable, though it may be possible. His homosexuality/bisexuality /bicuriousity is hinted at in many fanfictions and role-playing threads.
