Doodlebops is a comedy series directed for the preschool kids. The shows is from Canada. It is a television show and started in 2004 and was broad casted on Canadian Broadcasting Corporation or CBC in Canada while in the United States it was aired on Disney Channel. The starts of the series are Chad McNamara as Rooney Doodle, Lisa J. Lennox as Deedee Doodle, and Jonathan Wexler as Moe Doodle. Doodlebops ... performs live shows at various venues an often goes for tours all over the United States. The show has been performed live in more than 80 cities of America.

Through their energetic music, enviable dance moves, upbeat attitudes, and rockin' storylines, The Doodlebops share positive messages with their young viewing audience, and introduce them to a variety of musical and dance styles. The creators of the Doodlebops series are producer/director Jamie Waese, Cookie Jar executive Michael Hirsh and Carl Lenox. The show always includes scenes from a concert in front of a preschool audience who actively participate in the singing and dancing. The characters in Doodlebops wore heavy make to look like live-action cartoon characters. They wore cloth hoods with fake ears during the show's first season only. In the show's second season, the band changes to flashier versions of their standard costumes, including sequins and other metallic fabrics, during their concert segments.

In 2006, working alongside her father Kenneth, Alana returned to the United States and retraced her grandfather's footsteps as a rock-n-roll promoter, by bringing the first North American tour of Doodlebops Live! to a legion of pint-sized fans across America. This year, Alana led the second tour of Doodlebops Live! and a new Disney Live! stage production, Playhouse Disney Live!, the first U.S. live touring stage production featuring favorite characters from four shows in Disney Channel's popular Playhouse Disney program block for preschoolers.
