Sorry if this has been posted, but the new issue of Ngamer has come out in the UK and a reader wrote a letter asking if Donkey Kong 64 could come out on the Wii Virtual Console considering the expansion pack. The magazine says the latest whisperings from Rareware suggests it's more likely to show up on the DS.

Chunky Kong is Kiddy Kong's Big Brother and is playable so far only in Donkey Kong 64, in which he is the fourth and final character that Donkey Kong has to rescue. Like his brother, his size is a major factor in his importance.

Donkey Kong 64 follows in line with Rare's previous 3D Platforming release Banjo Kazooie. Furthermore the game requires an expansion pak to be played, and the expansion pak is included in all packages shipped in Europe and other PAL territories.

Lanky Kong is one of Donkey Kong's friends who appeared in only Donkey Kong 64, and is an Orangutang. His persona is described as wacky and his specific skills in that game are generally due to his long arms.

All flaws aside, strong gameplay reigns throughout Donkey Kong 64, mainly because Rare has preserved the Kongs' cooperative spirit from the 16-bit titles. Simply put, one Kong must complete several tasks (such as activating switches) so other Kongs can complete their quests in that stage. This process gets rather complex in later levels, and you must keep thinking creatively to solve the game's many puzzles. This truly adds to the "cerebral" gameplay aspects, in addition to the jump-and-shoot reflex testing already prevalent in the game's levels.
