To create interest in the large items and promote the overall program, Domino’s and JWT created larger-than-life characters who all shared a desire to offer big ticket items for the same low price. For each large prize, a series of viral videos were launched on popular social networking sites. Each video series eventually revealed the featured character’s intent to offer a great item for only $9.99. MySpace(R) profiles were ... created for these characters to help drive traffic to the video sites and generate chatter about the videos’ quirky content and interesting characters. Additionally, the URL to the contest Web site, www.anythinggoesdeal.com, was included in the videos to drive traffic to the promotion site.

Earlier this year, Domino's unveiled its "Delivering the Dream" program designed to help turn current minority Domino's team members into independent business owners by offering financial support to build new stores. When the initial announcement was made, Domino's had already helped minority franchisees open three stores. Today, Domino's has supported the construction of three additional stores in Socorro, Texas; Waverly, Ga.; and Gould, Fla., through the "Delivering the Dream" program.

Over the years Domino's has observed how certain Super Bowl scenarios seem to affect sales on game day. For instance, sales tend to increase when the game is close and viewers are glued to their TVs. Also, while the New York and Boston-area Domino's stores will see high sales at the beginning of the game, the city of the winning team will likely see higher sales at the end of the night.

The fourth finally revealed Dominos' involvement, and many viewers finally realized that MacKenzie and her family were not real people. Still, much of the invective against her continued as not every viewer seemed to have gotten to the end of the video. By the conclusion of the series, viewers either congratulated or condemned Domino's for leading them on so effectively.

Dominoes is a game for 2 players consisting of 28 dominos, each player gets 7 dominos. There are 3 versions of online domino games: Five-Up (aka Muggins or All Fives), Draw and Block. Object of the Game is to be the first person to attain the agreed-upon number of points (100 - 500). Points may be awarded during the play of the hand by making the exposed ends of the chain total to a multiple of five (in Five-Up). The winner at the end of each hand ... scores points for all the pips remaining in the other player's hand. Players can also select between 7-bone hand and 9-bone hand.
