St. Louis Metropolitan Police Do The Right Thing of Greater St. Louis, Inc. is a non-profit organization operating throughout the KMOV viewing area. The mission of the organization is to work in partnership with area law enforcement agencies, schools, media and businesses to recognize and promote the positive social behaviors of school-age children in the region.

(August 30, 2005) MSNBC reported that according to a story in the UK’s Daily Mail, one school in the town of Wellingborough is allowing pupils to swear at teachers, providing they do so no more than five times in a class. A tally tracks how many times the f-word is used and if the class exceeds the limit they are “spoken” to. The school believes the policy will improve behavior, but parents and parliamentary members condemn the rule and warn it will backfire. More…
September starts the new school year and a new schedule of Do the Right Thing ceremonies to honor area children who "do the right thing." On the 12th of September, twelve youths were honored in the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Board Room. You can read below what these extraordinary kids did to earn this recognition.
Do The Right Thing NBC2 is a proud sponsor of the Do The Right Thing program in Southwest Florida. The program recognizes students for good behavior and positive actions, in and out of school. Five law enforcement agencies honor ten area students in special ceremonies each month of the school year.

The improvement had nothing to do with market incentives. Massachusetts has no vouchers, no tuition tax credits, very few charter schools, and no market incentives for principals and teachers.
