Michelle attended the premiere of the new stage show Snow White - An Enchanting New Musical, on Februrary 21, 2004 at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland. Staged at the 1,600-seat theater, the new show is described as a "live 32-minute adaptation of the film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." It features many of the well-known tunes from the movie. Attendence at premiere was by invitation only to celebrity VIPs, the media, and parents of children participating in the show. Other celebrities at the premiere included Andy Garcia, Blair Underwood, Elisabeth Shue, Jennie Garth, Joely Fisher, Marilu Henner, Melissa Rivers, Rosanna Arquette, Sela Ward, Eric Close, and Treat Williams.

During the early days of television, Kimball wrote and directed three landmark shows for the "Disneyland" TV series that explored the science and fantasy of space travel. Working with scientists Willy Ley, Heinz Haber and Wernher von Braun, Kimball's first effort was the 1955 program, "Man in Space." "Man and the Moon" followed later that year and "Mars and Beyond" landed in 1957. This trilogy of shows is often credited with giving impetus to the government's space program and popularizing the concept with the American public.

Unquestionably one of the world's largest displays of fireworks, Disneyland utilizes the summer-night sky as a stage for "Fantasy in the Sky" every evening from mid-June to early September. At the end of 1999, approximately 4,325 pyrotechnic shows had been staged since the first rocket started the tradition in 1956.
