Dido's debut, No Angel, does not fit easily into one genre, but rather it melts multiple genres to form her own unique place in today's music. No Angel smoothly blends electronic trip-hop with folk/acoustic music, and the result is something that touches the soul.
Dido Dido has moved into full-on writing and recording mode this year, but she said she's not far enough along to share details. She did hint that her collaborators this time will be different than her usual bunch.

AllPop reported Britney Spears and U.K. pop singer Dido have teamed up. Dido, famous for her "Roswell" theme-song and "Thank You," the song sampled by bad-boy rapper Eminem, has been penning lyrics for none other than the princess of pop, The BBC reports. Dido is writing lyrics for a song that Britney will sing for her new movie. "It was quite a challenge for me to write something that's definitely about pop," Dido told The BBC's Radio 1. "I'd chuck in a lyric and they'd be like, 'Dido, are you trying to make people kill themselves? This is entertainment'."
In the opening lines of his poem, Ovid reveals Dido with an apathetic attitude towards her own life. Set on committing suicide, Dido writes this letter with little hope of swaying Aeneas' emotions or mindset to leave Carthage. Because her chastity, status, and reputation are all marred, Dido feels as if she has lost everything. With nothing to hold on to, Dido writes this letter with nothing to lose:
