December 11, 2003 - Canadian jazz singer Diana Krall and British music star Elvis Costello were married during the weekend in a private ceremony near London, according to reports. Around 150 people including former Beatle Paul MacCartney were invited to a ceremony veiled in secrecy at singer Elton John's castle outside the British capital, according to The Globe and Mail. Krall, 39, who in February won a Grammy for her Live in Paris album recorded live at Olympia in November 2001, met Costello, 49, during the 2002 Grammys.
Diana Krall and Elvis Costello quietly wed on December 5th, 2003 on Elton John's estate outside London with 150 guests. Elvis Costello, 49, a singer song-writer and Diana Krall, 39, a jazz singer, were together for a year before their civil wedding. While their wedding was relatively big compared to Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's wedding or Mary J. Blige and Kendu Issac's wedding, they managed to keep it a secret from lurking paparazzi, and still relatively few details have been leaked.
Canada's queen of jazz Diana Krall has opened her heart about life with husband Elvis Costello and their twin sons Dexter and Frank in an exclusive interview with HELLO! magazine. Since the boys arrived on the couple's third wedding anniversary last December, the multi-talented chanteuse says her outlook on life is better than ever.

December 20, 2003 - Diana Krall and Elvis Costello just got married and already the pair are working together in the studio. Rolling Stone magazine reports that though the project is still primarily a Krall solo album the couple have worked on at least seven tunes together including a remake of Costello's "Almost Blue." The disc entitled "The Girl In The Other Room" will be released on the Verve label April 27th. Costello and Krall were married December 6th.
[M]aybe it has something to do with Diana Krall. There was Costello, looking more fit and trim than he has for years. An outdoor venue in July with the sun still high enough in the sky so that he could see the crowd without spots interfering. With the Imposters backing him (Nieve, Thomas [Pete], and Faragher). And he ripped into "Radio, Radio" and continued non-stop for over 20 minutes, playing essentially the "greatest hits" from My Aim Is True and This Year's Model, supplemented with some other old tunes (e.g., "Every Day I Write the Book") to some recent vintage ("Tear Off Your Own Head (It's A Doll Revolution)"). He finished up that frenzied blastone after the other after the otherwith a twist, by doing the classic jazz standard "Everybody's Cryin' Mercy."
By the year 2001, Krall had created so much momentum that her Live in Paris tour climbed the Billboard jazz charts and netted her a Grammy for the Best Vocal Jazz Record. This album almost topped the charts in Canada--a rare feat for a jazz album. In 2003, Krall married fellow musician, Elvis Costello, in a much-publicized and ballyhooed ceremony. Together, they now live in New York and continue to produce great music.
