Farnsworth "Dex" Dexter is a fictional character on the American TV series Dynasty. The character was introduced as a love interest for Alexis Colby in episode 69. He will become her third husband, and arguably the second great love of her life, after Blake. Even after their marriage ends, Dex remains a strong force in Alexis's life. The role was originated by Michael Nader in 1983, and remained on the show until the final episode (#220) in 1989. Dex did not return for the 1991 miniseries Dynasty: The Reunion.

Subsequent to the end of the quarter, Pro-Dex received a new purchase commitment from an existing customer for $2.4 million of product to be delivered throughout calendar year 2008. Last year, this same customer had informed Pro-Dex of its plans to take in-house the repair and production of two products that Pro-Dex had historically produced for them. The new purchase commitment increases the Company's backlog to nearly $11.5 million at the present time. In addition, Pro-Dex continues to define the next generation of product for this same customer and is actively negotiating a new Development and Supply Agreement. "This commitment is concrete evidence of the progress we have made, both in terms of improving quality and enhancing customer relationships," Mr. Murphy added. Dex was born on Nar Shadaa long before Anakin Skywalker and the Clone Wars. He was selected at a young age for training at the Jedi Academy on Ossus. There he trained under several masters, including Yoda and Mace Windu. He eventually became a Jedi Knight and took up an apprentice to train. Upon completion of training his Padawan, Dex became a Jedi Master. Later, Dex joined in the Clone Wars with other Jedi.

Dex has been casually involved with Leslie Carrington, but their relationship ends when Leslie has a fling with Jeff Colby and goes to work for Alexis. Dex develops a friendship with Jeff's ex-wife (and Blake's daughter), Fallon. In episode 187, Fallon asks Dex to help her investigate a business deal in Africa, where he discovers that the key contact there, Harry Thresher, has ties to Alexis's new husband, Sean Rowan. Dex grows more suspicious and tries to warn Alexis, who dismisses his warnings as jealousy. In episode 194, Leslie confesses to Dex that she has been sleeping with Sean, and learned that he seeking to destroy Alexis in revenge for the death of his father, Joseph Anders.[4] Dex warns Alexis who fears the worst.
