It wasn’t that long ago that the Detroit Tigers were the laughingstock of Major League Baseball. In 2002, they won just 55 games while losing 106 times. Then the following year in 2003, they only managed 43 wins and lost an incredible 119 games to record one of the worst seasons in baseball history. But just three years later, they won 95 games and made it all the way to the World Series. That marked their first World Series appearance in more than two decades, and helped spark increased demand for Detroit Tigers baseball tickets at Comerica Park.
