Detective Conan premiered on the Fox Family Channel in fall 2000. The series was titled Meitantei Conan when it originally aired in Japan in 1996. The series is about an elementary school boy named Conan Edogawa, who is really 17-year-old detective Shinichi Kudo. When he had been checking out something suspicious he was hit over the head by a man dressed in black. He was given a drug to kill him, but it was an experimental drug. Instead of killing him, Shinichi reverted back to a small child.

Conan is really a 17-year-old famous high school detective, Shinichi Kudo. While investigating some suspicious activity, Shinichi was knocked over the head by a man dressed in black. During his semi-conscious state, an experimental drug was forced down his throat that was meant to kill him. Instead, Shinichi was shrunk into a little kid.

At the streets Conan and the detective boy were walking together to Hogurashi Shrine. They was meeting with Souta, to see if they have any cases from his school since things was good at Teitan. Conan was still thinking of the purple hair female cyborg. She couldn't be part of the Black Organization but why does she want to see him not Conan Edogawa but Shinichi Kudo.
