built 779 days ago
The Department of Corrections does not supervise parolees or those sentenced to probation only. For any information regarding individuals who are currently on parole or serving probation, please contact the Parole and Probation Division of the Department of Public Safety.

The New Mexico Corrections Department Offender Information is intended to provide law enforcement agencies and the general public with information about offenders who are incarcerated or on probation and/or parole supervision. You must know an offender’s first and/or last name or NMCD Number to begin the search process.
With the evolution of the department's electronic data storage came the desire, both within the department and among important constituencies, especially taxpayers, to put more information online. As a consequence, OTIS was created so that a wide variety of Internet users could have access to the data.

In addition to collaborating with local law enforcement to apprehend fugitives, the peace officers in the DOC Office of Special Investigations (OSI) Fugitive Apprehension Unit investigate, locate, and arrest fugitives. OSI ... provides intelligence information to local law enforcement. Behind-the-scenes efforts supported by the DOC include entering data on warrants issued into the NCIC database. Warrants are then entered into the law enforcement viewer, and the most-wanted fugitives are posted on the department website.
