built 290 days ago
Delta Connection [C]arrier Chautauqua launched on June 1 2004 four new daily flights between Tallahassee, Fla., and Tampa, Fla. To celebrate, Delta is offering customers a $49 each-way sale fare for travel through July 31 on the new flights. Chautauqua flies customers between the two cities on 37-seat Embraer 135 aircraft. Customers should act fast, as tickets must be purchased by June 15, 2004. Fares can be purchased one-way, and require a 14-day advance purchase. Some blackout dates apply. See below for details and other important restrictions.
Delta Airlines is America's fastest growing international carrier with more than 60 new international routes added in the last year. They offer flights to 458 destinations in 99 countries on Delta, Delta Shuttle, the Delta Connection carriers and their Worldwide Partners.

Delta Connection carriers Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA) and Comair [A]re increasing summer travel options for customers by adding new nonstop jet flights between Delta's Atlanta and Cincinnati hubs and five popular regional destinations. By July 7 2004, Comair will add one additional daily round-trip jet flight between Cincinnati and Akron/Canton, Ohio; Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem, N.C.; Portland, Maine; and Savannah, Ga. Effective July 1, ASA will add an additional round-trip flight (operating Sundays through Thursdays) between Atlanta and Chattanooga, Tenn. All new service will be operated with Bombardier CRJ regional jets.
On August 15, 2005, in an SEC filing, Delta announced that it had finalized a deal to sell Delta Connection carrier Atlantic Southeast Airlines for $425 million in cash to SkyWest Airlines in an effort to obtain money to avoid bankruptcy. Analysts called the move a desperate one, estimating ASA's worth at around $700-$800 million — a price which SkyWest would not have been willing to pay.[21]
