Defensive Driving: Defensive Driving School
built 266 days ago
Defensive driving courses, traffic schools, and driver improvement courses all have a single-minded goal; make you a better driver. Your local DMV usually has a list of defensive driving courses that they can recommend. In addition to these traffic school courses making you a better driver, they may ... help reduce your auto insurance premiums, remove points from your driving record, and help you dismiss traffic tickets. Before taking any defensive driver or traffic school course, you'll want to make sure they are either accepted by your DMV or court approved.

If you spend any time at all researching car insurance rates or reviewing auto insurance companies, you will eventually hear the phrase "defensive driving" come up. You probably know that some states use the term interchangeably with the "traffic school" to mean a class you can take in order to erase a traffic ticket, but you may not realize that defensive driving is more than just an alternative to forking over money. Instead, it is a manner of driving that makes use of specific safe driving skills and strategies to empower you when you encounter road hazards and unusual driving conditions. While these skills can be applied to normal traffic, they go far beyond basic traffic laws.

Ticket dismissal, fine/point reduction & for insurance purposes is the main reason most drivers complete this Illinois traffic school defensive driving course. When you finish the course by 4pm CT (Mon - Fri), your Certificate of Completion will be sent to you the same day, for you to provide to the Illinois Court. It is always the responsibility of the student to ensure DMV/court/insurance acceptance of taking the traffic safety course.
