Death Race: Roger Corman
built 191 days ago
A sequel comic book entitled Death Race 2020 was published in 1995 by Roger Corman's Cosmic Comics imprint. It was written by Pat Mills of 2000 AD fame, with art by Kevin O'Neill. The pair had already worked together on several comics including Marshall Law. The comic book, as the title indicates, took place 20 years after the movie and dealt with Frankenstein's return to the race.

The first installment of the Corman collection will include "Death Race" as well as "Rock 'N' Roll High School," "Big Bad Mama" and "DinoCroc." The films will be released individually to DVD December 13th (too bad it's not a Friday this year). -- Shannon Nolley

If you look up "B-Movie" in the dictionary, you'll probably find an IMDb link to Death Race 2000 next to a photo of Roger Corman. This cult film has everything you would expect from a B-movie. It has cheap sets, low production value, gratuitous nudity, graphic violence, a silly plot, poor acting, and an underlying sense of humor so you know the cast and crew aren't taking it seriously.
