3. Michelle Williams -- Dawson's Creek
   Michelle Williams, like her character Jennifer Lindley on DAWSON'S CREEK, is making the transition from big city to small town life. The 17-year-old actress moved from Los Angeles to Wilmington, North Carolina, the production location for the series. As Williams recounts, "It's quite a change from Los Angeles. It's beautiful and a nice pace for awhile, but at first it was a strange switch from the city and traffic. Having the experience of moving from a big city to a small town does make it easier to relate to Jen...." Williams explains that her character "is an outsider coming to Capeside from a fast-paced New York lifestyle.

5. Rosario Dawson -- Los Angeles
   Dawson's breakout role came when Linda Fiorento decide not to appear in the sequel to Men in Black. Dawson took on the role of Laura Vasquez in Men in Black II and followed up with the far less successful The Adventures of Pluto Nash . Despite that small dip, Dawson's career continued to rise. She appeared in Alexander which starred Colin Farrell and Angelina Jolie and several other notable actors and in the Robert Rodriguez screen adaptation of Frank Miller's Sin City. She then appeared in the horror film, The Devi's Rejects the film version of the hit musical Rent as drug addict Mimi Marquez, Kevin Smith's Clerks II, and in 2007 Grindhouse, Descent, and Death Proof.
6. Mean Creek -- Feelings
   Providing the underscore to Mean Creek is Tomandandy. Comprised of Tom Hajdu and Andy Milburn, this duo has previously scored such films as The Mothman Chronicles and Rules of Attraction. Primarily providing contemporary scores with electronic elements, their take on Mean Creek led them to a simple yet emotionally effective score with a cello as a central element.
7. Joshua Jackson -- North Carolina
   Joshua is currently starring in the successful WB series “Dawson’s Creek” alongside Katie Holmes and James Van Der Beek. Joshua plays Dawson’s (James Van Der Beek) best friend, Pacey Witter, and is currently in love with Dawson’s love interest, Joey Potter (Katie Holmes). Pacey’s interest in Joey has been the main story line for the show's third season, and the season finale ended with them finally getting together. Joshua has been on the series since it’s beginning. Since the show began, Joshua has dated Katie Holmes and Brittany Daniel (who played Dawson’s girlfriend in the series earlier this year). 8. Tobey Maguire -- Ang Lee
   Tobey was becoming an identifiable face by 1999, when he starred in the Oscar-winning The Cider House Rules, next to Michael Caine and Charlize Theron. He reunited with Ang Lee that same year for Ride with the Devil, and the following year he appeared in the critically-acclaimed Wonder Boys, starring Michael Douglas. Exploring his playful side, Tobey then lent his voice to "Lou the Beagle" in the animated Cats & Dogs in 2001.

10. Meredith Monroe
    Meredith Monroe was born Meredith Leigh Monroe on December 30, 1969 in Houston, Texas. She started her acting career by appearing on the packaging of products like Conair hair crimper and the covers of several Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys novels. She debuted on television in 1996 via a commercial for Tylenol. She landed her first role on the ABC show, Dangerous Minds, and subsequently came out in the show Sunset Beach before making her mark as Andie McPhee on Dawson's Creek.
