Rock musician Dave Navarro has teamed with Teravision to direct his first adult movie, Broken. The porn movie is set for a September release and stars Sasha Grey as “a woman torn apart by the duality of control and powerlessness in her life.”

October 17, 2006 -- DAVE Navarro isn't dating Jenna Jameson anymore, but it doesn't mean he's hurting for female companionship. The rocker held a Friday the 13th party at Mansion in Miami and was immediately deluged with women, including several Playmates and Miss June 2006, Stephanie Larimore. A spy reports, "They all wanted to be next to Dave, and a large group of them jumped on top of the sofa he was sitting on and the legs of the sofa broke." Mansion's staff fixed the furniture, but had to bring on extra security to keep random girls away from Navarro. Larimore was allowed to stay....

Navarro's obsession with this woman began when all he knew of Hollywood and the Sunset Strip was what he saw from the back seat of his parent's car. When he saw billboards of Angelyne-larger, blonder and bustier than life-the advertisement worked. She sold herself to him as not just a star-but the star, the ideal embodiment of the holy trinity of glamour, success and desire. But, like the advertisements for the circus unicorns he had seen as a child, reality did not conform to expectation. As he grew older and saw her around town, he began to realize that she wasn't a real star and she wasn't even that pretty. She was a freak.

In 2005, Navarro served as co-host of the reality TV show Rock Star: INXS alongside Brooke Burke. During the competition to determine a new lead vocalist for INXS, the exposure and success of the show made Navarro's name much better known among mainstream music fans.

Dave showed her around his house. Through it all, Angelyne cooed and oohed and squealed and chirped, as if she was a 40's starlet who was too famous to age. She loved the Basquiat drawing with the words "Tin Tar Lead" drawn in marker, the early Warhol print of a shoe he had painted, and the guitar that used to belong to Kurt Cobain.
