Darkside

One of the many projects to emerge from the groundbreaking efforts of drone-rock avatars Spacemen 3, the Darkside was led by Pete Bain (a.k.a. Pete Bassman), who had left the Spacemen prior to their 1989 LP Playing with Fire. Upon returning to his hometown of Rugby, England, Bain encountered vocalist Nick Hayden, who asked him to join the Darkside; soon the revitalized group was performing locally and cutting demos, but after signing a record deal their drummer exited, to be replaced another Spacemen 3 alum, Stewart "Rosco" Roswell, for their 1990 debut single "Highrise Love." Then, in the midst of a British tour, Hayden abruptly left the Darkside, forcing Bain to assume vocal duties; it was a line-up of Bain, Roswell and guitarist Kevin Cowan which recorded the group's 1990 LP All That Noise. Continuing their constant state of flux, Roswell announced he was rejecting the drums in favor of keyboards, heralding the arrival of new percussionist Craig Wagstaff for the 1991 limited-edition live LP Psychedelicise Suburbia. When Cowan quit after recording 1992's Melomania, Roswell took over guitar chores and the Darkside recorded another EP, Mayhem to Meditate; after demos for a third LP were cut but rejected by the label, the group finally disbanded.

Darkside is a boss from Kingdom Hearts. It was a colossal pureblood Heartless that Sora encountered numerous times. Instances included in the mysterious Awakening, the Destiny Islands, and in the End of the World. It ... has a resemblence to Twilight Thorn which could possibly be its Nobody.
A quintet of horror stories - Tales From The Darkside with a femme slant. Segment 1- "Leek and Wolfbane Pie" -- A nosy husband sets out to prove once and for all to his wife that their next-door neighbors might very well be werewolves. Segment 2- "The Midnight Coupon" -- A cat-fight between two feuding, suburban women takes a turn for the worst in a 24 hour grocery store during the midnight hours. Segment 3- "They Die" -- A lonely, young woman desperate for love is cursed with the fact that every man she tries to date suddenly, instantly dies. Beautiful. Segment 5- "Out" -- One mother's horrifying story about Hell on earth and the inability for her family to escape...to get Out.
Tales from the Darkside is an anthology TV series from the 1980s produced by George A. Romero. Similar to The Twilight Zone, Night Gallery, The Outer Limits, and Tales From The Crypt, each episode was an individual short story that ended with a plot twist. Unlike these other series, Tales from the Darkside centered mostly around horror stories. However, the series contained some episodes which would more likely be considered science fiction or fantasy-based, as well as some episodes which were more comical and lighthearted in tone.
Darkside Darkside can spawn Shadows and its theme song is Destati. It has a heart-shaped hole in it's stomach. It creates Shadows by creating an orb which it puts in the hole in it's stomach. The monster can ... fire these orbs from its stomach as offensive weapons. It's also the very first boss that is battled in the series.
Mind you, I’m not saying that in any collection such as the recent Darkside anthology, featuring twenty-one stories, every tale will be first-rate. Inevitably there will be a few misfires, and some of the stories collected will be no more than ordinary. But most of the tales in Pelan’s latest offering are either excellent, or at least good. Among those well worth a mention here are the opening story, “Crossroads,” in which Don Tumasonis confirms his enormous talent with a tale of black magic featuring a “wanna-be” guitar player who is headed for his own destruction. Also, Mark Samuels, an emerging star in the UK horror scene, contributes with yet another of his Kafkaesque nightmares, this one depicting the world as suddenly and mysteriously invaded by an alien race which mimics human behaviour.
