Authorities announced this weekend that Danielle Fishel was arrested on a drunk driving warrant. You may remember Danielle from her role as Topanga on the ABC sitcom Boy Meets World. Now you can remember her as Susie McDrunkendrive. The Associated Press reports:

Danielle Fishel, 26, played Topanga (opposite Ben Savage) on the kid-friendly “Boy Meets World” for seven years. In 2006, Fishel took on the role as a NutriSystem spokeswoman and later (February 2007), became a special correspondent on Tyra Banks’ talk show.

Danielle Christine Fishel was born on May 5, 1981 in Mesa, Arizona. She began acting professionally at the age of ten where she made many TV guest appearances and commercials. She was originally a guest star for the show "Boy Meets World" but Danielle added a spark the show needed and they added her as a regular cast member shortly after. She plays Topanga Lawrence on the show the girlfriend of Cory Matthews. The show has brought Danielle much attention even landing her face on the cover of Seventeen Magazine. In the conclusion of a two-part story, Cory (Ben Savage) continues to proclaim his undying devotion to Topanga (Danielle Fishel), even though she has moved to faraway Pittsburgh. Evidently Topanga feels the same way, inasmuch as she runs away from her family to be reunited with Cory. Now it falls to the youngster to convinces their uptight parents that this is the "real thing." The episode's blatant references to "Romeo and Juliet" take on special significance when one realizes that the part of Topanga's disapproving Aunt Prudence is played by Olivia Hussey, who played Juliet in Franco Zefferrelli's 1968 film version of Shakespeare's immortal tragedy. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
