Damian was two years old when his father died, and is the only child born to Marley and Cindy Breakspeare, Miss World 1976. Damian's nickname is Junior Gong which is derived from his father's nickname of Tuff Gong. Damian has been performing since the age of 13. He shares with most of the Marley family a full-time career in music. Unlike his brothers and sisters... his musical specialty is "toasting", a Jamaican style of rapping.

Ziggy, Damian, Stephen, Julian, and Kymani have all confirmed their February 10 appearance. The brothers performed at Port Royal for the 50th anniversary of Studio One Records three years ago and continue to headline major anniversary celebrations held in their father’s honour.

This Regatta boasts the distinguished title of the largest sailing race in the Caribbean. The outdoor concert event is scheduled to conclude the festivities on Sunday, March 4th 2007 on the white sands of Kim Sha Beach.
