Having fulfilled their contractual obligations with Sony Music, Cypress Hill will release an as-yet untitled album through a different record label during the first quarter of 2007[1]. In 2007, they signed with the Kottonmouth Kings label, Suburban Noize Records, and have begun recording tracks for the upcoming label-debut album.

Cypress Hill will be releasing two different versions of the first single to come from their "Skull & Bones" album, each boasting special guest appearances by different artists. The song is called "Superstar" and is a cautionary tale aimed at starry-eyed youngsters getting into the music business.

Cypress Hill continued their experimentation with rock on the Stoned Raiders album in 2001. However, its sales were a disappointment, as the disc did not even reach the top 50 of the U.S. album charts.
