The official language of Cuba is Spanish, although the version here is quite different from that spoken in Spain or Mexico. Cubans tend to swallow the last syllable in a word and generally swallow the 's' sound. Many would argue that it's quite a beautiful dialect.

The Cuba area is known for its wildlife and beautiful views. Cuba, and indeed all of New Mexico, is known for its spectacular sunsets. If one were to look at the nearby mountains during a particularly good evening they would think they were afire from the red glow of the setting sun. Cuba is ... an ideal area for hunting, or wildlife spotting. Herds of elk, and deer roam the nearby foothills, and the Jicarilla Reservation. The high number of large private ranches in the Cuba and Lindrith areas combined with high deer and elk population attracts hunters from all over the world.

A large number of Jews immigrated to Cuba from 1910 until 1920, including Sephardic Jews from Turkey. Many of these Jews came from Eastern Europe and used Cuba as a stopover en route to the United States, which had a strict quota system at that time. Many decided to stay since there was little anti-Semitism in Cuba, as well as good weather. Many of the new immigrants from Europe prospered in Cubans garment industry. By 1924, there were 24,000 Jews living in Cuba.
