Cruise Bar Restaurant & Events were finalists in two major categories in this years AHA Awards for NSW. Nominated as finalists in the coveted 'Restaurant of the Year' Award and 'Best Events Venue' for 2007 is a majorstepping stone for Cruise. Cruise has recently gone through a restructuring phase, and reaching award level so quickly after these changes is a major acheivement for the new team.

The gathering included industry luminaries and those connected to CAA (the agency that represented Ledger), including Cruise and Holmes, who costarred with Michelle Williams on Dawson’s Creek. It comes a week after relatives and close friends – including ex-girlfriend Naomi Watts – paid tribute to the 28-year-old actor at a smaller service at an L.A. cemetery.
