1. Ang Lee -- Crouching Tiger
   After Ang Lee left the army, he got both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the USA. However, he didn't have any chance to make a film. He stayed at home for six years until he got a chance to direct the movie "Pushing Hands." Afterwards, he went on to direct "Wedding Banquet," "Eat Drink Man Woman," "Sense and Sensibility" and the most famous one, "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon."
2. Zhang Ziyi -- Crouching Tiger
   Zhang Ziyi is a Chinese actress. The characters of her name can be literally translated as Zhāng (a surname, not to be confused with the more common Zhāng), Zǐ (child), and Yí (happiness). Her name is sometimes seen in the Western order (Ziyi Zhang). She stars in Rush Hour 2, with Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, woos audiences with her enlightening (and physical) performance in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and Memoirs of a Geisha (2005).
3. Michelle Yeoh -- Hidden Dragon
   After Moonlight Express (1999), Michelle Yeoh again proved her talent with martial arts in the Academy Award-winning Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000). In 2001, Yeoh was named International Star of the Year at the ShoWest Convention. She then produced and appeared in both The Touch (2002) and Silver Hawk (2004).
4. Fann Wong -- Miscellaneous
   Throughout the late 1990s, much of Singapore's entertainment press was dedicated to covering the rivalry between Fann and fellow Singaporean actress Zoe Tay. In 1996, Fann described her relationship with Tay as "not friends, only colleagues". Both actresses are considered 'Ah Jies' (阿姐; an affectionate term for highly-respected female celebrities) in the Singapore entertainment scene.[42][48]

6. Zhang Yimou -- Flying Daggers
   Riding on the box-office success of Hero, arthouse perennial Zhang Yimou is directing another martial arts epic in House of Flying Daggers (tentative English title). Production started on September the 11th last year, which coincided with the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Holiday. Early filming was completed in Ukraine. The All-Asia team stars Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon producer Bill Kong, In the Mood for Love composer Shigeru Umebayashi, Academy Award winning costume designer Emi Wada (Hero, Kurosawa's Ran and Yume) and ace action choreographer Siu-Tung Ching (Hero, Shaolin Soccer).
7. Ang Lee -- Brokeback Mountain
   Because of Ang Lee, so many more people know about Chinese filmmaking and about Chinese films. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, a Chinese-language movie, mesmerized Western audiences in 2000. And last year, with Brokeback Mountain, yet another unimaginable success, both with critics and audiences, he captivated the entire world and reached the pinnacle of moviemaking.
8. Zhang Ziyi
   In January 2007, Zhang Ziyi was spotted holding hands and kissing with her new partner at a New York basketball game. The man was identified as 41-year-old, Israeli multi-millionaire, venture capitalist Vivi Nevo. The two were again seen together at an Oscar party in Los Angeles. Nevo, who has previously been tied to model Kate Moss, is a major shareholder in Time Warner and an early backer of The Weinstein Company with whom Zhang Ziyi is purported to have a multi-film deal.[6][7]

   Command line tool 'subs' and its perl backend Subtitles.pm provide means for simple re-timing, joining, splitting, and format conversion of the subtitle files. Supported subtitle formats are .srt, .sub, .smi, and .idx.
10. Chow Yun-Fat -- Replacement Killers
    Chow made his American film debut in 1998's hit actioner The Replacement Killers, directed by Antoine Fuqua. It was followed by The Corruptor, co-starring Mark Wahlberg, and the epic drama Anna and the King, co-starring award-winning actress Jodie Foster. Chow went on to star in the Academy Award-winning film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon with director Ang Lee and co-star Michelle Yeoh.
