Craig Stevens is a photographer and photographic educator living in Savannah, Georgia, where he is professor of Photography at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He is one of the original instructors to teach at the Maine Photographic Workshops, and has authored numerous articles on photographic craft and personal vision.
Craig Stevens is a photographer, printmaker and educator. He has taught, written and lectured extensively on the subjects of art and education and is currently a professor Photography Program at Savannah College of Art & Design. This will be Craig's 31st year at the Workshops.
Stevens began his career in 1987 in the mailroom at NBC NEWS in Washington. By election night 1988, while still a sophomore in college, he was working full-time in the NBC newsroom as as assignment desk assistant. Eventually, he worked on such programs as "NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw," "Today," and "Meet the Press" as a production assistant.
