Cowboy Bebop (スパイクの死) is an anime series that tells the story of how Spike dies[1]. Many fans enjoy watching the series, only to find out that Spike Spiegel, the main character[2], dies. First-time viewers may wonder just how he dies, and will have to watch the entire series until viewing the last episode, in which Spike dies. Otherwise, there is no hint that Spike dies[3], except for times when he is about to die. Regardless, one should not skip to the final episode, where Spike dies, as it would spoil the rest of the story[4].

Cartoon Network introduces Cowboy Bebop, an episodic anime series that will air in one-hour blocks, premiering on Sunday, September 2 at 12 midnight (ET, PT) during Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, the network's new adult-targeted line-up. Netw Taking place in a future where the population of Earth has migrated into space, Cowboy Bebop deals with the exploits of the ship Bebop and its bounty hunter crew as they take on various assignments in a hyperspace world rampant with crime and opportunities. The show follows the exploits of bounty hunters, Spike and Jet, as they roam the galaxy with their dog, Ein, tracking down criminals. Cowboy Bebop is a production of Bandai Entertainment. Netw Cartoon Network extends its mission as the world's leader in animated entertainment on September 2, when it splashes down with ADULT SWIM, a new block of animated programming aimed at adults ages 18-34. The block will air only on Sunday and Thursday nights from 10 p.m.-1 a.m. (ET, PT).

Cowboy Bebop would have to be one of the most popular and best anime series out there. The animation is great, stories are good, and the characters are just likeable. When I first starting watching this series I didn't like it completely, but after seeing the whole thing I loved it. It's been years since I first saw it and it's still one of my favorites, and since Adult Swim will probably never stop showing it, you should be able to see it (if you haven't yet, what's wrong with you?!). :P

With an original story line and MAJOR comic relief, Cowboy Bebop is truly a great anime. Although, the series would've been great if it were longer, though there are no complaints about the ending (Don't worry, no spoilers here)

Slick, stylish, and visually dazzling, Cowboy Bebop continues to be one of the most popular anime of all time. So much so that in Japan, two special DVDs were released containing six episodes reedited and remixed into Dolby Digital 5.1 audio under the direct supervision of series director Shinichiro Watanabe.
