Courtney and Jen showed up at the LA premiere of The Tripper last night to lend some support to David ’s first directorial effort which takes place at a yearly music festival attended by masses of hippies. “When a psycho killer obsessed with Ronald Reagan emerges from the woods, the party comes to an abrupt, hilarious halt”. Sounds like a winner.

On June 13, 2004, she gave birth to their first child, daughter Coco Riley Arquette. The child was originally to be named after her mother as Courteney Cox Arquette.[6] However, Arquette's family objected to this on the grounds that naming a child after a living relative goes against Jewish tradition (David Arquette's mother is Jewish). Coco is a nickname Cox's friends gave her mother when she was a child. Jennifer Aniston is the baby's godmother.[7]

Her daughter's name Coco came from a compromise between her and husband David Arquette. Because of her Southern roots she wanted to name her daughter Courteney Cox, as her mom is Courteney Cox and so is she. However, David is half Jewish and it is against Jewish tradition to name a child after a living person. So the name came from the nickname Courteney's friends had for her mother while Courtney was growing up. They called her Mama Coco.
