1. Day of Defeat: Source -- Counter-Strike
   A relatively late entry to the Half-Life mod scene, Day of Defeat Beta 1 was first released in January 2001. Over the next year and a half, the mod continually improved and developed a strong following. With the release of Beta 3, Day of Defeat (like Counter-Strike) became an official Valve Software sponsored modification.
2. Labor Strikes -- Workers
   Strikes have been frequent in all industrialized countries where labor has the right to freedom of action. In Great Britain, where the Industrial Revolution occurred first, strikes of various sorts took place during the 19th cent.; these include the antimachine riots of the Luddites, the successful work stoppage in 1889 by the London dock workers, and the bitter and unsuccessful strikes by coal miners in 1898 and 1926, the latter leading to a general strike. The general strike, more successful in countries where labor unions are more closely linked to political parties than in the United States, has ... also been attempted in cities there. Work stoppages have also occurred under authoritarian regimes (which often legally forbid strikes) as protests against both economic and political disabilities. Strikes against foreign owners of mines and oil fields have occurred at various times in Mexico, Bolivia, Chile, Venezuela, and Iran. The strike has also been used as a political weapon in the movements for independence in Asia and Africa.

4. Waylander -- Karnak
   Waylander retrieved the armour of bronze and gave it to Egal, and Karnak went to the aid of Dros Purdol and allowed Egal to break out of the forest with his army and come to the aid of Dros Purdol. Waylander killed the Vagrian General Kaem and Karnak led the Drenai on a counter strike which defeated the Vagrians.

6. Strategic Defense Initiative (Sdi)
   SDI was criticized for potentially disrupting the strategic doctrine of Mutual Assured Destruction. MAD postulated that intentional nuclear attack was inhibited by the certain ensuing mutual self-destruction. Even if a nuclear first strike destroyed many of the opponent's weapons, sufficient nuclear missiles would survive to render a devastating counter-strike at the attacker. The criticism was that SDI could have potentially allowed an attacker to survive the lighter counter-strike... encouraging a first strike by the side having SDI. Another destabilizing scenario was countries being tempted to strike first before SDI was deployed, thereby avoiding a disadvantaged nuclear posture.
7. Soldat -- Games
   Soldat is a unique side-view multiplayer action game. It takes the best from games like Liero, Worms, Quake and Counter-Strike and gives you fast action gameplay with tons of blood and flesh. Soldiers fight against each other on 2D battle arenas using a deadly military arsenal. Play in online multiplayer matches or with bots.

9. Half-Life 2 -- Hl2
   Half-Life 2 was merely a rumor until a strong impression at E3 in May 2003 launched it into high levels of hype, where it won several awards for best in show. It was forecast to come out in September 2003, but was delayed. This pushing back of HL2’s release date came in the wake of the cracking of Valve's internal network,[62] through a null session connection to Tangis which was hosted in Valve’s network and a subsequent upload of an ASP shell, resulting in the leak of the game’s source code in early September 2003.[63] On October 2, Valve CEO Gabe Newell publicly explained in the HalfLife2.net forums the events that Valve experienced around the time of the leak, and requested users to track down the perpetrators if possible.
10. War Rock -- Eas Battlefield
    Among the features from Battlefield incorporated into War Rock is the crouch- and lying-down positions, which can be toggled with the C button. These are rather useful when trying to duck enemy fire or hiding behind underbrush or walls. These are ... useful when sneaking up behind enemies. However, it is best to use this sparingly as players in these positions will be vulnerable to snipers or enemies in close range.
