NEW YORK, Dec 13, 2007 (StreetInsider.com) Costco Wholesale (Nasdaq: COST | charts | news | PowerRating) reports Q1 EPS of $0.59, in-line with the consensus of $0.59. Revenues came in at $15.8 billion, versus the consensus of $15.81 billion.
Costco currently operates 529 warehouses, including 389 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 75 in Canada, 19 in the United Kingdom, five in Korea, five in Taiwan, six in Japan and 30 in Mexico.

AUSTIN (statesman.com) – With the Northwest Austin store deemed a “top-performer,” Costco Wholesale Corp. has broken ground on its second Austin location. The new 78-acre site is at the southwest corner of William Cannon Dr. and South MoPac Blvd. Costco plans to open the 153,000-square-foot store in spring 2006.
