The dose of Cordarone Tablets you take has been specially chosen for you by your doctor and may change during treatment. Keep taking your medicine until your doctor tells you to stop. Do not stop taking it because you feel better. Your condition may get worse. Talk with your doctor if you have side effects.

The recommended adult starting dose of Cordarone is usually from 800 mg to 1600 mg daily for one to three weeks in divided doses. The dose is eventually reduced to 200 mg to 400 mg daily as prescribed by your doctor and according to circumstances. Cordarone may be taken with or without meals, but should be taken in the same manner each day.

As Cordarone X is given to you under the supervision of your doctor, it is very unlikely that you will receive too much. However, if you experience any side effects after being given Cordarone X, tell your doctor or nurse immediately.
