Cordarone: Amiodarone Hydrochloride
built 631 days ago
You are probably aware that the anti-arrhythmic drug Cordarone® (amiodarone) is often associated with corneal changes that do not cause visual dysfunction or vision loss. A recent addition to the package insert of Cordarone® indicates an association between use of the drug and the development of an optic neuropathy that can lead to profound vision loss.
If you are suffering from any of the disorders listed here you should consult with your doctor before starting a treatment with Cordarone (Amiodarone). He might want to monitorize your treatment with this drug or to make adjustments to your normal dose of Cordarone.
