McQ Inc., a leader in developing, manufacturing and delivering advanced sensors to the commercial sector and U.S. government, has recently been awarded four new contracts. The awards will allow the company to continue its work developing advanced Unattended Ground Sensors (UGS) and fusion processing technologies.
The WBENC certification is considered the official stamp of approval for contracts with diverse suppliers by more than 700 government agencies and companies. The Benefit Advocates' certification comes after an in-depth financial review and site visit. The WBENC seal of approval means the company is at least 51 percent owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.
The company expects the impact of the loss of the management contracts for the nine centers will be approximately $4 million of Funds from Operations and Net Income in 2005. Excluding the effect of the non-recurring organizational charge, the impact on 2004 FFO and Net Income is not expected to be material.
