[C]ustomers who change to another Virgin Mobile phone which supports Contact Vault -- the Switch_Back or Cyclops -- no longer have to hesitate, thinking about all the wasted time of transferring personal contacts to a new phone. This is all taken care of directly through Contact Vault. Customers can easily input up to six phone numbers per contact in the address book and store up to 140 contacts in total, depending on the phone model. The cost for Contact Vault is $1.99 per month, regardless of how often one chooses to synchronize the information.

Customers can save a copy of names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses to a secure Web site where they can view, print, add, delete, and edit their contacts. The Backup Assistant application will update with any changes to customers' address books either automatically, on a set schedule or manually, depending on the schedule option customers select when they first create their accounts. If customers lose, damage or upgrade their phones, they can restore their contact lists by downloading Backup Assistant to their new or replacement phones.
