Next question, what happens if the voters do not approve a constitutional convention in November of 2002? Well, the same thing will happen that has happened in the past. And that is that the question will appear again on the general election ballot in 2012. Between now and 2012 the Legislature can put on the question of whether there should be a Constitutional Convention on any general election ballot. But regardless of whether that happens it will be back on the ballot in 2012.
