Pedagogica is a major module for some Concord Consortium projects. It uses technology from the Rhino Javascript package as well as being dependent on CC's Domain, EASL, Framework, Logging, Script, and Swing packages. It is licensed under the LPGL. The original Rhino license is the Mozilla Public License available at Mozilla.

Several Concord Consortium staff members including Janice Gobert, Paul Horwitz and Barbara Buckley, are attending the 7th annual International Conference of the Learning Sciences this week in Bloomington, Indiana. They are running a full day workshop on Monday entitled "Authoring, Assessment & Open Source: Implications for Research and Classroom Application."

Math is a base module for some Concord Consortium projects. It uses technology from the Singular Systems (NFunk) JEP package and Sun's Java 3D Vecmath. It is licensed under the LPGL. The original JEP license is the General Public License available at GNU and Vecmath is licensed under the JDL.

In the Fall of 2003, the Concord Consortium co-founded the Technology Enhanced Learning in Science (TELS) Center, a Teaching and Learning Center funded by the National Science Foundation. By providing major funding for an Education Accelerator, TELS supports applied research on the educational impacts on science of information and computer technologies.

The International Netcourse Teacher Enhancement Coalition (INTEC) was a project of The Concord Consortium that was sponsored by the National Science Foundation. INTEC supported teachers directly in implementing the use of student investigations in mathematics and science at the middle and high school levels by offering a set of network-based netcourses linking participants with exemplary NSF curriculum development efforts.
