A new Xerox innovation, called "Pass Through Programming," keeps the system running even if one of the engines needs service, providing maximum productivity and uptime for commercial print operations and in-house printing facilities. The printing system, based on technology developed by researchers in Xerox labs in Webster, N.Y, and the Palo Alto Research Center, is supported by more than 50 filed patents. It will launch in the second quarter of 2007 in North America and Europe.
