According to Variety, Dimension Films has given the green light to a film based on Marvel Comics' "Ghost Rider." Johnny Depp is rumored to be interested in playing the lead character, Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider, in this $75 million production. David Norrington ("Blade") is confirmed as director, and Steven Paul, Avi Arad and actor Jon Voight are producing the film, with Voight possibly in line for a supporting role.
