1. Arnaud Clement
   Arnaud Clement has had an excellent year reaching one singles final (Nottingham, where he beat Djokovic) and a semi final on the ATP Tour. His year end ranking is #54, placing him the 5th highest male in this strong Hopman field behind #3 Novak Djokovic, #13 Tomas Berdych, #16 Juan Ignacio Chela and #39 Mardy Fish. This was backed up by his extraordinary Wimbledon doubles victory with Michael Llodra over the Bryan twins.
2. John Clements
   John Clements is a clinical psychologist of over thirty years' standing, specializing in the field of developmental disabilities. He has previously worked for the NHS and university system in the UK and jointly established the UK's first independent psychology practice specializing in issues for people with developmental disabilities. He currently works as a behavior consultant in California, taking a particular interest in helping people with autism and their families.
3. Stanley Clements
   Stanley Clements stars in Republic's Pride of Maryland as an ambitious jockey named Frankie (an inside joke: most movie jockeys were played by Frankie Darro -- who plays a supporting role in this film!). After discovering a sure-fire method of winning all his races, Frankie is barred from competition when he bets on himself.
4. John Clements -- Miscellaneous
   Best known from his guest appearances on guitar with local alt-rockers The Minority, Rick has his own solo material which he will be bringing to the first Clements Acoustic night of 2008! Expect “songs about the personal, the spiritual, the social and even (at times) the political.”
5. Arnaud Clement -- France
   The fight between Arnaud Clement (France) and Karol Kucera (Slovakia) lasted three hours and 22 minutes. It was the longest match in the eleven year history of the GERRY WEBER OPEN. The prize: Being among the last four players of the tournament. In the end fortune was on Clement’s side – he won the match 7:5, 6:7(5), 7:6(6).
6. John Clements -- New York
   John has a Doctorate in Theology from the Southern California Graduate School of Theology of the United Congregational Church. Subsequently, the same School awarded him an honorary Doctorate in Divinity. Currently, he is studying for a Doctorate in Ministry with the Christian Leadership University, Elma, New York. He has a growing itinerant ministry, and is ... an expanding influence in the business world.
7. John Clements -- Historical Fencing
   John Clements is a leading authority on historical fencing and one of the world’s foremost practitioner-instructors of Medieval and Renaissance fighting methods. As a long-time Western martial artist who has been studying historical fencing since 1980, John is the most prolific writer on historical fencing active today. He has practiced cut & thrust swordsmanship and rapier fighting for more than eighteen years, researched swords and arms in 10 countries and taught classes and seminars on the subject in 10 countries. From 1997 to 2004 he taught public classes and private lessons in Houston, Texas.
8. Kay Hammond -- John Clements
   In 1993, Hammond and Cooper produced one of the most original electronic albums from the 90’s, “United Kingdom”, which was a very personal tribute to the British Canterbury sound by artists like Caravan and Soft Machine. For this task, Ultramarine got surrounded by no more no less that some of the legends of the British genre, including Robert Wyatt (vocals), Jimmy Hastings from Caravan and national Health (clarinet, flute, piccolo, soprano sax), Phil James (trumpet, harmonica), Paul Johnson (percussion), Simon Kay (Hammond organ), and Jim Rattigan (Accordion). The result was an unique mix of house and and jazz grooves, with the spirit of the Canterbury bands.
9. Michelangelo -- Pope Clement
   Michelangelo's first designs for solving the intractable urbanistic, symbolic, political and propaganda program for the Campidoglio dated back in the 1530s. The commission was from the Farnese Pope Paul III, who wanted a symbol of the new Rome to impress Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor, who was expected in 1538. The hill was the Capitoline, the heart of pagan Rome, though that connection was largely obscured by its other role as the center of the civic government of Rome, revived as a commune in the 11th century . The city's government was now to be firmly in papal control, but the Campidoglio was the former scene of many movements of urban resistance, such as the dramatic scenes of Cola di Rienzi's revived republic. Approximately in the middle, not to Michelangelo's liking, now stood the only equestrian bronze to have survived sinc e Antiquity, Marcus Aurelius, the philosopher emperor. He apparently owed his suvival largely because popular culture had mistaken him for Constantin e t he Great, revered as the first Christian emperor by plebs and popes alike.
10. Aladdin -- Magic Carpet
    Aladdin reunited directors Ron Clements and John Musker, and the songwriting team of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken. It may not have been the easiest production (see next page's look at Disc 2 and the struggles encountered). But in the end, as with the previous Clements/Musker/ Ashman/Menken collaboration The Little Mermaid, magic was undoubtedly weaved in Aladdin.
