LOS ANGELES, Calif., August 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The long wait for Clay Aiken fans is over. RCA Records will release the singer's third album, "A Thousand Different Ways" on September 19th. The project, Aiken's first outing since 2004, combines 10 cover versions of well-known songs from the '70s, '80s and '90s with four brand-new songs.

American Idol finalist Clay Aiken is opening his doors to the world. Clay allowed reporter Lynda Loveland an exclusive peak inside his house. Lynda is a reporter for WRAL, which is a local newstation in his hometown of Raleigh , North Carolina . Clay opens up about his OCD characteristics, the interior decoration of his house, and he even addressed the “Kelly Ripa hand incident”. Clay mimics the mouth covering incident and even shows Lynda an award he received from the Regis and Kelly show for best performer. Clay joked about receiving a best “co-host” award from Kelly after all the drama that fell through as his guest appearance as her co-host. Clay admitted that he apologized to Kelly and that all is good with them.

In November 2004, Aiken launched his third tour of the year, which revolved around a Christmas theme. "The Joyful Noise Tour", sponsored by Ronald McDonald House Charities, featured a conductor and a 30-piece orchestra. In some cities, Aiken was supported by the local philharmonic or symphony, such as the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Local choirs from high schools and elementary schools ... participated at each concert.
