CNN has learned that Clay will be performing a Christmas concert at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa, California, on the evening of Friday, November 26, the day after Thanksgiving. Jacob Perkins was invited to perform on stage with Clay during his concert at the Pepsi Arena in Albany, N.Y. The 12-year-old boy chose to sing "This is the Night." Well, Jacob not only wowed Clay and the packed audience, but a music industry professional who was in the audience as well. According to the boys' mother, Jacob has been given an opportunity to make a demo CD and perform at the New York State Fair.

Given that Clay sold 4.3 millions cd's with virtually no radio play, it's easy to visualize what will happen when he does have a mega-hit single.....and it will happen..just ask Billy Rae Cyrus. Took him 10 years to be an overnight success with Achy-Breaky Heart (his words)and it revolutionized country dancing by introducing the 'line dance'and made heart throbs of every female 11/2 years old and up.
